Belgravia Glass Teapot (200ml)

Our luxuriously designed mouthblown, handmade glass teapot is perfect to enjoy any type of tea and herbal infusion. However, it is best suited to herbal infusions as generally these need to be brewed for longer with more water-to-herb circulation. Glassware elevates your tea and infusion taking experience, heightening your senses whilst you drink. The cup bowl has been designed to allow for larger air-liquid contact, meaning greater oxygenation (dissolved oxygen) and therefore a better tasting tea or infusion. Perfect for a cup for one, or for gong fu brewing.

  • The tea strainer is removable. When removing it, push the spring on the tea strainer from the inside of the pot and take off the hook. Do not forcefully try to pull the hook from the spout, as you may hurt yourself by doing so. Push the spring from the inside when placing it back in the pot. Please note that for some of our finer herbal infusions (such as mountain mint, elderflower and linden), a further mesh strainer is recommended for a clearer cup.
  • Handle the glassware with the utmost care. Do not let children use it. Keep away and out of reach from children. Please make sure to hold lid with your hand while serving tea. Refrain from using cracked, chipped, or highly scratched glass as it may break unexpectedly. Do not use a metal spoon inside the glass bowl. Be careful when handling chipped or broken glass parts. Please follow your local regulations for disposal. If by any chance the handle comes off or becomes loose during use, please refrain from further use because it can be dangerous.
  • Use a soft sponge and mild dish detergent for cleaning. Do not use sponges with abrasive or metal scouring pads as they may cause damage. Do not use abrasive cleansers as they may damage or scratch the surface of the glassware. This product may be washed in a dishwasher. Please follow the instructions of your dishwasher manual. Please do not use metal polishers or cleansers for cleaning. Doing so may scratch the surface and cause discolouration. Please also refrain from washing with bleach. After use, remove any residue and wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Handmade mouthblown borosilicate glass teapot with stainless steel strainer

Glass blowing is a glass forming technique that humans have used to shape glass since the 1st century B.C. The technique consists of inflating molten glass with a blowpipe to form a sort of glass bubble, that can be molded into beautiful glassware.
